Directorate of Social Development
Mobilization and empowerment of individuals, families, groups and communities to facilitate the process of social change for growth and improved livelihoods.
Directorate of Children Services
Safeguard and protect the rights & welfare of all children through co-ordination, supervision, and provision of services as per the Constitution and the Children Act, 2022.
Directorate of Social Assistance
Payment of cash transfers to older persons, persons with severe disabilities and orphans and vulnerable children.
National Social Protection Secretariat
Facilitating integration, coordination and harmonization of social protection programmes in Kenya under a National Social Protection System
The department deals with payment of cash transfers to older persons, persons with disabilities and orphans.
